There’s a place for you here

Some people give money. Others give an afternoon, a car-load of supplies or a company’s backing. Every kind of help matters.

Volunteer FAQ

Good to know

Do I need experience to volunteer?

Not at all. Build days are designed so anyone can jump in. We’ll walk you through each station when you arrive.

Can students earn volunteer hours?

Students are very welcome. Mention it when you sign up and we’ll talk through confirming your community-involvement hours.

Can I bring a group?

Absolutely. We love hosting school, workplace and faith groups. Tell us roughly how many people and we’ll plan around you.

What supplies do you need most?

Each initiative page lists its full kit contents. Socks, hygiene products, feminine care and baby essentials are always in demand.

Every kit starts with someone like you.

Give once, give monthly, or give your time. However you show up, you help someone in Ontario get through a hard day with dignity.
