Support for individuals & families
Safe housing connections, essential services and emotional support help people facing adversity regain stability, with trauma-informed care for women experiencing abuse.
About Ontario Hopes
Ontario Hopes is a not-for-profit organization delivering practical help and lasting support to people facing homelessness, poverty, abuse and illness across Ontario.

Who we are
We support individuals and families facing adversity by connecting them with safe housing, essential services and emotional support, so they can regain stability and independence. For women experiencing abuse, we offer specialized, trauma-informed care to support healing and recovery.
Through five initiatives, from Warm Winter Kits for people sleeping rough to emergency essentials for women and children fleeing abuse, we meet urgent needs today and help people build a more secure tomorrow.
Everything we do is made possible by volunteers, donors and community partners who believe that no one in Ontario should be left to face a crisis alone.
Our values
Safe housing connections, essential services and emotional support help people facing adversity regain stability, with trauma-informed care for women experiencing abuse.
Everyone we serve is treated with respect, and offered real opportunities to grow through job training, education and legal support.
We focus on what helps people get back on their feet: security, essentials and a clear path toward long-term independence and well-being.
Shelter, food, healthcare, mental-health support, legal aid, job training and education give people the tools to move forward with hope and purpose.

How we work
Every kit list is built around the essentials people facing homelessness, crisis and illness need most, and refined each season.
Our build days bring together students, families, faith communities and local businesses. Volunteers are the heart of everything we do.
We work alongside shelters, hospitals and frontline agencies so help reaches people quickly, respectfully and where it counts.
You decide which initiative your gift supports, so your generosity goes exactly where you intend.
Our initiatives
Give once, give monthly, or give your time. However you show up, you help someone in Ontario get through a hard day with dignity.
