Not-for-profit · Ontario, Canada
Ontario Hopes is a volunteer-powered not-for-profit. We build and deliver essentials kits for people facing homelessness, crisis and illness, so no one has to face the hardest days alone.

Our mission
No one in Ontario should face winter without warmth, a crisis without essentials, or a fresh start without someone in their corner.
Safe housing connections, essential services and emotional support help people facing adversity regain stability, with trauma-informed care for women experiencing abuse.
Everyone we serve is treated with respect, and offered real opportunities to grow through job training, education and legal support.
We focus on what helps people get back on their feet: security, essentials and a clear path toward long-term independence and well-being.
Shelter, food, healthcare, mental-health support, legal aid, job training and education give people the tools to move forward with hope and purpose.
Our initiatives
From freezing January nights to the hottest days of July, each initiative answers a real, urgent need. Donors can direct their gift to the one closest to their heart.
How your help travels
A donation, a supply drive or an afternoon of your time. Every contribution is directed to the initiative you choose.
We purchase and gather the items people actually need: warm layers, hygiene products, food, water and health supplies.
At our community build days, volunteers of every age assemble kits by hand, item by item.
We deliver through shelters, hospitals and frontline partners so help lands where it’s needed most.

Spotlight · The Warm Winter Initiative
Every winter, volunteers pack Warm Winter Kits for people experiencing homelessness. Kits from our build days were donated to the Essex County Homelessness Hub, a story covered by CTV News and the Windsor Star.
